The two simulated processes are synthesized from a generic set of process elements. These elements simulate linear process dynamics such as lag, complex pole, unstable pole, and unstable zero, ... , simulates non-linear process dynamics such as deadtime, pH-type behaviour and hysteresis, ... , simulates signal source such as load disturbance and measurement noise. The time scale of the two processes can also be independently set at one of three available speeds (FAST, MED and SLOW), |
